Hi I’m Kate! I guess I’m a “Wedding Photographer” but I like to think I’m a photographer of People, not Weddings per say.

After ten years in business I’ve come to learn a thing or two about telling YOUR story and let me tell you it has exactly nothing to do with the staged pictures of your shoes and it doesn’t have to happen on strict timelines. If it were entirely up to me I’d say we do away with excessive post-ceremony altar photos and focus on the natural movement and energy of this big day that holds such a rollercoaster of human emotions.

Weddings are a blur.

You’ve heard it before, and there’s a reason. There are the quintessential moments that probably auto-scroll through your brain: the dress, the venue, the kiss, the first dance, etc. (the who/what/where/when).

But in the middle of all that is the reality of real day-to-day love in all it’s forms and stages..Not everything beautiful is extravagant, as the saying goes. There’s also the quiet moments, the funny moments, the in-between moments. The unpredicted moments and the awkward dance moves..

People, not weddings. That’s what we’re going for here.
