When Jill first emailed me and described her wedding day as casual & bohemian with the beautiful Rainey Estate in Blue Mountain as the backdrop, I was immediately interested.  We set up a consult and met for margaritas at Volta later that week. Hearing them talk about how they met & seeing the way they looked at each other literally gave me chills, and that just doesn't happen often.  Their happiness was so contagious and by the time I left our lunch date, I was already so in love with this couple. On the day of their wedding it rained, but because they decided to do a first look, we had more than enough time to capture some beautiful couples portraits of them in between showers.  They also decided to add a second shooter, which was a great decision because Amber Rhodes Lapoint absolutely killed it with the shots of their ceremony from inside the house!  All in all, their wedding day was one for the books & I'm honored to have been a part of it.  Also, are these two not going to have the most gorgeous children one day?!?

andrea + dexter // memphis wedding photography

Andrea & Dexter's wedding was so much fun to be a part of.  Since Andrea lives in Atlanta, we held our initial consultation over the phone, and before long I felt like I was talking to someone I had known for years.  Andrea is so kind hearted and down to Earth and has this particular kind of calmness about her, even in the midst of chaos.  I think that is captured perfectly in the first picture below. Basically, she is my girl crush.  Dexter, if you're reading this, you weren't bad either. Even if we did have to go through the "but what do I do with my hands" dude awkwardness eighty seven times :) Seriously though, I'm honored to have been trusted to document your day.  All the best,
