one of the things I was most looking forward to when I decided to move to nashville was getting to shoot at new venues. I love my mississippi + memphis brides, don't get me wrong! but i've been having so much fun as a nashville wedding photographer because i've gotten to shoot at some of the most beautiful venues i've ever seen! i'm also loving what seems to be the trend of bride and grooms deciding to forgo the traditional church ceremonies, and saying their i do's outside. from a photography standpoint, this is a big YES in my book! as I try to get my name & work out in nashville, i've been second shooting a good bit with some local talent, and this was one of those which I shot alongside the uber talented and insanely sweet jenny lindsey. not only has jenny encouraged me 1,000 percent and happily shared her wealth of photography knowledge, but this talented beauty also just renovated her own wedding venue!! that's right people... when a wedding photographer designs a space for a wedding, you know it's designed with gorgeous photos + light in mind! I absolutely cannot wait to shoot at meadow hill farm ! meanwhile, enjoy kristina & doug's gorgeous samary plantation wedding photos.

nashville wedding photographer // aubrey & hamilton
So whenever I'm not shooting my own weddings, I absolutely love second shooting. Not only do I get the opportunity to learn from some of the best in the industry, but I'm also forced to get a little more creative. Here's a couple of my favorites from aubrey & hamilton's oxford wedding that I shot alongside the crazy talented beth morgan cowen, aka bmofoto. aubrey & hamilton got married at the paris yates chapel on the Ole Miss campus, and finished off with an epic reception at the lyric. enjoy!
