If you're wondering what 12hours of coverage is, here it is, so hold on to your hats folks, this is a long one!  Lauren and her girls started the morning getting ready at the most charming airbnb in East Nashville while Andrew and the guys got ready at the Hilton in heart of downtown Nashville.

Since they both live in Chicago, they really wanted a venue with a city vibe, so the riverfront Bridge Building was a no brainer with it's strong lines, bold colors and unbeatable view of the Nashville skyline. I aimed to keep that theme rolling with their portraits so I steered clear of greenery and instead focused on the interesting lines & textures around the venue as the backdrop for their portraits.

Huge thanks to Caroline Williamson for second shooting with me, I couldn't have done it without you! P.s. In case you missed it, their engagement session is here. psst: vendor love at the end of post!

Big shout outs to the following vendors that made this day come to life:
Planning: Lesa of The Bridge Building
Donuts: Fox's Donut Den
Flowers: Ashley @ Forget Me Not Flower Shop and Designs
Makeup: Meri Gray Fernandez
Band: The Respectables

Whitney and Jason were such a fun couple to work with because neither take themselves too seriously. Rather than the typical wedding day hustle and bustle angst, the whole day felt more like a casual gathering, and 'oh yeah, we're also gonna get married while you guys are here!' They had an intimate ceremony at Jason's family lakeside home with just a handful of friends and family in attendance. From there they had a larger reception at one of my new favorite spots, the Oak Room at Nelson's Green Brier Distillery. The warehouse vibe of the Oak Room was accented with warm candle light, fun food stations and one of the cooler groom's cakes I've seen (see below). So happy for these two, enjoy!
