Amelia + Mike
This is the first of two weddings for Amelia & Mike that you'll see here. Wait, what? Okay so these two tied the knot for the first time this summer. It was an intimate backyard affair at a cool Airbnb in Franklin, TN... And when I say intimate, I mean intimate: eight people including me.
It was simple. It wasn't fussy. It was quick and filled with joy. It was a celebration, not an Event. It was probably a lot like how our grandparents did it. (In fact, they had this smaller ceremony so Amelia's grandmother could attend as she won't be making the trek for round two).
Next year they're doing it up with a destination wedding in the quaintest Guardia Sanframondi, Italy where Mike's parents own some property. They'll exchange vows in a beautiful courtyard and then make their way to a local winery they've come to know and love. How Italian is that?! Meanwhile, I'll be pinching myself the entire time wondering how in the hell I got so blessed in this life. And from there, I'll be jetting off to Puerto Rico for another destination wedding the following weekend, so if you or someone you know is interested in a session in San Juan or Guardia Sanframondi, holler at your girl!
