Finally! I have been *dying* to share this fun Nashville couple's session with my pals Erica & Britton. It's always so fun photographing one of your photography buds because they trust you entirely AND suggest things like "hey can we end our session in a bubble bath with wine.. is that weird?!" UM WHAT? pfft, of freaking course we can!!
I'm so glad these two were down to play dress up for my cam for this fun styled session at Urban Cowboy and around 12th South. Oh and FYI Erica is an incredible videographer for my pal John Myers and also an incredible photographer and I just cannot say enough good things about this cool ass chick! Animal lover, boss lady, enormously talented and entirely down to Earth and has the best boyfriend a gal could ask for to boot. Huge thanks to Urban Cowboy B&B in East Nashville for letting us photograph this couple's session at their adorable bungalow! I truly cannot say enough good things about the place itself or the staff there. The attention to detail is incredible. Pro tip: Be sure to hit up the bar behind Urban Cowboy next time you're out and about in East Nashville!
Press play & enjoy! #muchlove

if you don't already know of kaila + jay of klassey productions, you're missing out. forget what you *think* you know about "wedding videos"... their work is upbeat, out-of-the-box, thoughtfully nuanced and just plain exciting to watch. here's proof if you don't believe me: boom.
i first met this deadly duo when we worked a wedding together in nashville a while ago, but it wasn't until we all found ourselves teaching @ the real workshop this past august that I had to chance to get to know them... i got to to know them more as very unique and different individuals, but what I really loved was seeing them feed off each other during their presentations... the passion for what they do is evident in their work, but seeing their faces light up as they stood side-by-side talking about this crazy, beautiful art form they've shaped into a business was equal parts sweet and motivating as hell. they are the definition of "killing it." a few weeks after the workshop, I tagged along with the equally-incredible emily & jacob of the hatches photography to capture jay & kaila on the *other* side of the lens to celebrate their engagement! be sure to check out their save the date video here!
